- Business details, company registration or trading address.
- Public liability or professional indemnity insurance.
- Qualifications, trade memberships and category-specific licences.
- Website ownership and the right to use submitted branding.
What the statuses mean
Not submitted
The platform has not received information for this check.
Submitted or under review
Information has been received but no successful decision has been made yet.
Verified
An authorised reviewer completed the stated check using the evidence available.
Rejected, expired or revoked
The check is not currently valid. The profile explains the relevant status without displaying private evidence.
Time-sensitive checks include dates
Where evidence expires, such as an insurance policy, the profile can show the valid-until date. Expiry can remove a badge or pause new enquiries when the category rules require it.
Businesses receive reminders, but responsibility for keeping information current remains with the business. Customers should consider whether a check remains relevant to the work and timing of their job.
Review verification is a different check
The strongest platform review is linked to an enquiry delivered through Proactive Billboards and later marked complete. Work arranged elsewhere may use a separate evidence-supported review route.
External review links are labelled separately and are not silently merged into the platform rating.
Verification is information, not a guarantee
- It does not guarantee workmanship, conduct, availability or value for money.
- It does not replace quotes, contracts, references or checks you consider appropriate.
- A Founding Member label records early support for the platform; it is not a trust check.
- No plan price or advertising spend can buy a verification decision or change a dispute outcome.
