Accessibility statement

Proactive Billboards aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA and make local business discovery usable with a keyboard, assistive technology, zoom and different display preferences.

Last updated: 21/07/2026

Our commitment

Accessibility is treated as a product requirement rather than a visual option. Public pages use semantic landmarks and headings, visible labels, strong focus indicators, responsive layouts and reduced-motion support.

The target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This statement does not claim independent certification or full conformance while product areas and third-party integrations continue to be built and assessed.

Measures included in the public foundation

  • Skip links, consistent navigation landmarks and current-page indication.
  • Keyboard-operated mobile navigation with Escape, focus containment and focus return.
  • Text and interactive-component contrast designed for AA thresholds.
  • Visible dual-colour focus rings that remain clear on light and dark surfaces.
  • Explicit form labels, hints, error styling and touch-friendly controls.
  • Layouts that reflow from wide screens to narrow mobile viewports.
  • System fonts rather than remote font downloads and reduced-motion handling.

Supported use

The service is intended to work with current standards-based browsers, keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom and common screen readers. Very old browsers may not support every enhancement, but core content and links should remain available.

Third-party payment, mapping, ticketing or media pages have their own accessibility responsibilities. Report a barrier even when it appears after following an external link so the integration can be reviewed.

Known limitations and ongoing work

  • New search, map, messaging, upload, chart and administration experiences require accessibility testing as they are introduced.
  • User-uploaded business, offer and event media can vary in quality; meaningful alternative text and moderation controls are required.
  • No independent WCAG conformance audit has yet been recorded for the complete product.

Accessibility feedback

Include the page address, what you were trying to do, what went wrong, and your browser or assistive technology when comfortable sharing it. Do not include unnecessary health or identity information.

Public support contact is not configured

No contact form or message-sending control is shown because this environment does not have a public support address configured. If you already have an account or transaction email, reply to that correspondence. Otherwise, please return when public support details have been published.

No message has been sent from this page.

Assessment and review

The shared public presentation was reviewed against WCAG 2.2 AA requirements during this update using source inspection, keyboard interaction design and contrast checks. Complete product journeys require repeated manual and automated testing as functionality is added.

This statement should be updated after material interface changes, an independent audit or a significant accessibility report.
