Cookie choices

Cookie information

The platform uses essential cookies for security and account features. Optional analytics or marketing cookies must not be set before the required choice is available.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Similar local technologies can remember a choice or help a service recognise a session. This page uses “cookies” to describe both where the same rules apply.

2. Essential cookies used by the platform

Secure session

Keeps sign-in and security state connected while you use the service. It normally ends when the browser session ends.

Remember me

Used only when you choose to remain signed in on a trusted device. It has a longer expiry and can be removed by signing out.

Security and consent state

Can remember request-protection information and the cookie choices you make.

3. Optional analytics, personalisation and marketing

The public presentation does not load remote font services or advertising trackers. If optional analytics, personalisation or marketing technologies are enabled later, the cookie control must identify their purpose and provider before they are used where consent is required.

Rejecting optional cookies must not prevent access to ordinary public content. A choice can be changed later through the cookie settings control when optional tools are configured.

4. Third-party services

A payment, mapping, video, social or ticketing provider may set its own cookies when you deliberately open or use that service. The platform should avoid loading non-essential embedded services before the appropriate choice and should link to the provider’s information.

5. Managing cookies

  • Use the platform cookie control when optional categories are available.
  • Use browser settings to view, block or delete stored cookies.
  • Sign out to revoke the platform remember-me token where supported.
  • Blocking essential session storage can prevent sign-in and protected account features from working.

6. Changes and questions

This page is updated when a new cookie purpose or provider is introduced. Questions about an unidentified cookie can be sent through the contact route with the cookie name, page and browser where it appeared.
