Start with the work and its location

The place where work is needed can be different from your home address.

Search using a service, category, business name or everyday phrase, then enter a town or postcode for the job. You can choose a distance and refine the results with filters such as availability, verification and work type.

A precise address is not required for an initial search. If you later include one in an enquiry, it is shared only with the businesses you select.

Begin with up to five recommendations, then view every match

The recommended group is intended to reduce noise, not restrict your choice.

• Each recommendation includes short relevance reasons, such as distance, service coverage, verification or accepting-work status.
• You can continue to all businesses that match the search and change the filters or sorting.
• Sponsored placements, when offered, are labelled and kept separate from ordinary recommendations.
• A business plan, Founding Member badge or partner relationship does not improve organic ranking.

Compare evidence, not vague promises

Profiles separate platform reviews from external reputation links and explain each verification check. A profile may be fully verified, partly verified or not yet verified.

Verification helps you understand information held by the platform. It is not a guarantee of workmanship, price, availability or the outcome of a job.

Browse first, then create an account for protected actions

Guests can browse enough public information to understand the service. Depending on the current access settings, an account or membership may be required before contact details are shown, an enquiry is sent, a message is started or a members-only offer is claimed.

Any price, access period and refund information is shown before purchase. Paying for platform access is not a payment for trade work and does not guarantee a business outcome.

Send one focused enquiry to businesses you choose

The default recipient limit is three businesses.

• Describe the work, timing, job location and preferred contact method.
• Add photographs or documents when they help explain the job.
• Review suitable businesses and select a small group to receive the details.
• Keep questions, responses and status changes connected to the enquiry.
• After eligible work is completed, the platform can invite you to leave a verified review.
